Montevento

Verona, Veneto

Montevento is born out of the limestone soils of Treviso, where the long daylight hours and cold alpine breezes create fruit of outstanding quality. Today, the Pasqua family remains at the forefront of brilliant winemaking families in Treviso, pioneering a crisp, contemporary style of Pinot Grigio that’s made the region’s renown.

2023 Montevento Pinot Grigio

100% Pinot Grigio from between Verona and Treviso, in Veneto's Western part, 250-350m ASL, yellow calcerous clay with some alluvial, full stainless steel ferment at cold temperatures, no lees work, 2 months in tank before bottling, stelvin.

Tasting Note

"Very vibrant ripe lemon, lime zest and kiwi fruit with a little castor sugar and green pear skin. An interesting little blossom honey twist and almost a green grape scent here as well. That palate, so fresh and clean, you crunch down on the acid but slurp up the slightly waxy, slightly pithy texture with that same green kiwi fruit flavour running the show."
