Montevento

Verona, Veneto

Montevento is born out of the limestone soils of Treviso, where the long daylight hours and cold alpine breezes create fruit of outstanding quality. Today, the Pasqua family remains at the forefront of brilliant winemaking families in Treviso, pioneering a crisp, contemporary style of Pinot Grigio that’s made the region’s renown.

Montevento Pinot Grigio

Sourced from hillside vineyards between Verona and Treviso in western Veneto, this Pinot Grigio reflects the freshness and purity that define the region's finest examples. Cool fermentation and maturation exclusively in stainless steel preserve vibrant fruit profile for a bright, contemporary expression of varietal clarity.

Winemaking

Fruit is sourced from vineyards planted between 250 and 350 metres above sea level on calcareous clay soils with alluvial influences. Fermentation takes place at cool temperatures in stainless steel before two months of maturation in tank. The wine is bottled under screwcap to preserve freshness and aromatic purity.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw in colour, with aromas of ripe lemon, lime zest, green pear, kiwi fruit and delicate blossom honey. The palate is crisp and energetic, balancing vibrant citrus acidity with a gently waxy, lightly pithy texture, finishing with impressive freshness, purity and persistence.
